I accepted Gloria Laks Schnyder's challenge to begin posting baby pictures and have posted a picture of me taken in front of my first Christmas tree at eight months. Okay, Gloria, your turn!

Attended Butler Business after graduating from Central and then worked at Sikorsky Aircraft as a secretary until I had my daughter; I had a son a year and a half later and was a stay-at-home mom for several years and then went back to Sikorsky and worked for a few years and left to have my third son; I was home again for about three years and then went back to Sikorsky again. I had several administrative positions, however, the last fourteen years, I supported three different presidents.

In January 2012, I decided to retire and my husband and I went to Florida in March of that year and I have been doing some projects around my home -- just taking time to enjoy retirement.
After joining our website in 2012, I began to work on the committee planning the 70th birthday party and had so much fun reconnecting with classmates that I have been working on our past three events. Working on the committee for the events gave me the opportunity to work with an incredible number of people. Our website has served as such a catalyst to renew friendships and make new friends. Kudos to Terry Ryan for introducing our class to it and maintaining it until Gloria Williamson Moreau volunteered to maintain it for us. Many thanks to both of them.

Since joining the website, it has given me the wonderful opportunity to reconnect with so many classmates that I had lost contact with over the years. The website has given us all the tool needed to communicate with classmates that were such an important part of our lives and gives us the opportunity to relive the wonderful memories we had at Central.

I had the pleasure of attending Central's graduating class of 2014 Annual Award's Ceremony where Gloria Cerreta Manning presented a leadership award from the Central Class of 1961 to the Micayla Hall, Class President. The "leadership award" presented to Micayla was the only award of its type presented that evening and she was very appreciative to receive it. She is planning to attend college in Palm Beach, FL and is a lovely young lady and very deserving of the award. I was very happy to attend the ceremony and witness this young lady receive this award from our class.

I have the pleasure of working on the committee to plan the 55th reunion of our class for August 12-13th of next year. It has been such a rewarding experience for me to again reconnect with so many friends that shared a very special part of my life. I do hope to see many of our classmates attend the reunion and share memories of this time of our lives -- we all shared a lot of laughter and tears together and I'm sure everyone would agree that we had a wonderful time at our 70th birthday party and I would love to see as many classmates attend the reunion to join the fun!

Wishing my “brother” and favorite dance partner a very happy upcoming birthday! Yikes, where have all those years gone? Seems like just yesterday we were ding “the swing” at the record hops. At any rate, hope you and Sue are doing good and, if you find yourself in CT again, please let me know and we’ll get a group together for lunch.

Roberta, it was so nice to see you in June at lunch — gosh, it had only been 64 years and where did those years go? Hope we can all get together again when the weather warms up. In the meantime, I hope you have a very Happy Birthday!
