I had some interesting nights out to New York with Carl once we turned 18.. Lost touch for a long time but reunited about 7 or 8 years ago when he found me in the Tampa Bay area. He and Noreen spent time here each winter visiting friends from Connecticut. Interesting while we were meeting one time, he realized that his friend growing up was my brother in law (who also lives here)! The two families were very close. Well, we got Noreen, Carl, brother in law and sister in law together.  Before our 70th Birthday reunion, Carl promised me that he would try to make the event (he had his stroke earlier). Sure enough, if you were there, Carl and Noreen attended. A measure of the special couple. Thanks for the memories Carl.

I am very saddened on the passing of my old friend Carl Noll. Whom-ever wrote his obnituary, did a fine job, as it truely describes and captured his life. Unfortunitly, after his graduation I kind of lost track of him, but the obit filled me in. It did not surprise me- his achievments after graduation. He was indeed a very bright, and cmpassionate person in the early days, and obviously applied these qualities thru his entire life. Fortunitly, I have clear memories of him in those early days and the obit didn't surprise me regarding his life after Central. My sympathies to his family whom I am sure will miss him, I will not forget him either, and I am sure other classmates feel the same way.

Bill, hope your upcoming birthday is a great one and you and Diane can celebrate it now that things are beginning to ease up a bit.

I spoke to Gloria Moreau this morning and she came up with the idea of polling our classmates to see how we are entertaining ourselves during this stay-at-home period. Well, I hate to admit it that when this was instituted about a month ago, the first thought that came to my mind was what about my hair and nails — oh, no. Having colored my hair in one form or another, since the early 90’s, this could prove to be very interesting — can’t wait to see my natural hair color. Every night I think about all the projects I can be doing — tomorrow! Well, so far I managed to clean out of hall closet and the vanity in my bathroom. I only have four more closets to go and another bathroom vanity but I put it off as I don’t want to run out of things to do (haha). I did start to read again and forgot how much I enjoyed it. I talk to my dogs a lot and the other day I asked them a question and they answered me. Now I’m teaching them to sing Happy Birthday so they can sing to me tomorrow when we eat the birthday cake I’m making for myself. Last week I got my prom dress out of the attic and wore it to clean the house and then take out the garbage — wish I could have found my tiara. Then I saw my wedding dress in the attic and I think that will be my attire this week — the dogs agreed to carry my train. Now I find myself grocery shopping at 6:15 in the morning with all the seniors and that has become the highlight of my week. All seriousness aside, this gives us time to reflect on the freedoms we had just a month ago and I think we will all appreciate some of the little things we took for granted before and that won’t be a bad thing. I sincerely hope all my classmates and their families remain safe and well during this trying time, but it will get better. Whoever thought anything could shutdown our country and the world?

Happy Birthday Rick! Got nervous when I read the birthday wishes - thought is was the 1st of April and you were in deep dodo. However, amazing that your birthday and Mary Graces birthday are the 8th. Talk soon!
