After graduation I went on active duty with the United States Navy for 2 years. I was a Radar Seaman and served aboard a cruiser U.S.S. Northampton [which President Kennedy visited in 1962]. Later I was transferred to the U.S.S. Laffey DD724- The Laffey was the most decorated U.S Destroyer of WW2. Today she is berthed at the Museum at Patriot's Point, Charleston, S.C. And yes- I partied in the Navy just as I did at CHS!

Attended UB after the Navy- met a girl from N.J. we married in 1966. We had 2 sons Michael and Gregory. Gregory passed in 2k6 at age 36.
Currently, I have been helping out special needs children at various Jacksonville schools


Received a B.A. Bus.Ad from Bloomfield College, Bloomfield,N.J. 1970. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to Suma Cum Laude-LOL!

Business career: sales and management. UARCO Business Forms, Life Insurance and Telecommunications.All of those were solutions sales as an independent agent.

Divorced in 1995 and left N.J in 2k5 for Florida. They call this Paradise- I don't know why? LOL!

Present plans are to restart my T shirt business as a wholesaler.

Activities: golf and more golf, some fishing at the local fish market, volunteer for church activities.

Life is Good and Life is an Echo- what we send out is what we get back!
School Story:

Played freshman hoops, served as Treasurer of the BSL for 1 year and got the ball rolling to have Andy Robustelli, of NY Giants Football,speak at a BSL Assembly - worked at Thom McAn on Main Street, Bpt. and the Southend Super Market.


My fondest memories are all the "friends" I made at CHS- the parties, the dances, the Ring Dance at the Ritz and our Graduation at the UB Gym.

Going to Seaside Park to watch the submarine races and listen to Murray the "K"-did we really listen to Murray? Let's not forget the girls showing "Howe" standing! Conte's - Briarwood Farms- the Buglight-yep got in under age- the Seawall also. Jerry's and Jenny's pizza Thursday nights on the Drag- too bad I had to sell those Thom McAn shoes that night.

Ann, I had no idea you passed away until today (08-15-2025). We knew each other very well and the kind words that describe you are absolutely true. We had so many laughs when we worked at the Southend Super Market during our high school days at CHS. Whenever we danced you had that certain bounce I called the Ann Melisi Bounce- you always laughed when I mentioned it and that put a smile on our faces. Luv ya. Tommy - you always called me Tommy!

Omg, Vinnie, it's amazing how the time flies. We were in the same home room,106, for 4 yrs.
Remember the b'day party at Billy Wirth's home in 1960?
Just one of the great times you, Billy n I had at CHS.
I was born at 12:17a.m. on the 26th at St.Vincents. Grins- Bill is 11 days older than us!!! That means his senior moments started before ours! Lol.

Btw, I stay in touch with a few guys from our Southend days. The Southend was a fantastic place to grow up- it gives us memories of the Southend Little League and the Hu ky Doory hot dog stand- lol!!
