Robert A. Mangano

Robert Mangano, Assistant Police Chief for the City of Bridgeport died peacefully on November 6, 2004 at home in Monroe surrounded by his loving family. He was 61. He was a police office for 37 years. He served his country in the Army reserves in the 1960-s. Survivors include his loving devoted wife Bonnie Lee Mangano, devoted children Dr. Anthony Robert Mangano and his wife JoEllyn of Clarence N.Y. (formerly of Bridgeort), Melissa Lee Dymerski and her husband Jeffery of Shelton, Elizabeth Anne Mangano, and Tamara Lynne Mangano both of Monroe, loving brother Ronald Joseph Mangano and a loving sister Catherine Ann Greenstein and her husband Leonard of Sunrise Fla. four cherished grandchildren Anthony, Olivia, Michael and Mark, 12 loving nieces and nephews. His in-laws Kenneth and Beverly Higgiins of Monroe, sister-in-law Teri and her husband Kador Daurannake of New Haven, brother-in-laws David and his wife Sandra Higgins of Clinton, John and his wife Francene Higgins of Stratford. Robert was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Poppa Mangano, his step father Joseph Mangano and his son Robert Joseph Mangano in July 2000.
