Marylyn Johnson Astarita, 63, of Maple Avenue, North Haven, died Nov. 16, 2007, at her home. She was the wife of Edward R. Astarita Sr. She would have been married 45 years on Nov. 23.  Born in Bridgeport, June 9, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Henry O. and Mary Veres Johnson. Mrs. Astarita received an associates degree in art from the University of Bridgeport. 

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Stewart) Green, of Mamaroneck, N.Y., and Amanda Astarita, of Durham; a son, Edward (Julie) Astarita, Jr., of Slater, Iowa; and grandchildren, Matthew and Rosemary Green, Molly, Hannah and Olivia Astarita, Kelsey, Ryan and Alec Bogen; a sister, Gloria (Donald) Abbott, of Miami, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Dr. Theodore (Natalie) Astarita, of North Haven; and several nieces, a nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews.
