In Memory

William E. Flynn

William E. Flynn

October 3, 1943 - May 9, 2013

William E. Flynn, 69, of Lake Helen, FL was born October 3, 1943 in Bridgeport, CT, the son of William and Monica. William is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Maria Flynn, three children: Lynn Larrazabal, Jeffrey Flynn, and Monica Alvarez; 13 grandchildren: Ryan, Samantha, David, Phillip, Psyche, Agotha, Alix, Nathaniel, Amy, Jacob, Quentin, Christopher and Jenae; his sister, Monica Brown and many loving nephews and nieces.

He is retired from the City of North Miami Beach Water Plant after 25 years. He enjoyed hunting when he was young. Through the years, music and reading history are other hobbies that he enjoyed. Photography wasn't just a hobby, it was a way for his loved ones to be captured and to be seen through his eyes and cherished forever. Each photo was not only a picture, but a memory that will never be lost. Cooking, also, was a way that William was able to spread his culinary wings and feed everyone who happened to drop in.

William was a man beyond words. He touched so many lives with his awesome personality that had a touch of tender loving care that was a blessing to those who knew him. He was a man you could always depend on and without a doubt know he always looked out for you. He was the strength that kept many together. He was the voice of reason that kept everything moving forward. He was the reason many of us didn't get lost. And always quick to make us laugh.

He was the type of man that represented what a husband, brother, uncle, friend, and father is supposed to be. He was a proud distinguished gentleman that had a great sense of humor and all at the same time he was down to earth. He was a role model that we were all able to look up to. He has influenced many lives without even realizing what a great teacher he was. To this day many of us are who we are due to the fact that he came into our lives.

No matter how much we write or say it will never be enough to describe a loving man that will never be forgotten. He will live forever in all of our hearts and in everything he touched for his creativity lives in the eyes and lives of his family. We are forever blessed for having him in our lives. Thank you, Jesus, for allowing William to be a part of all of our lives..
