In Memory

Roger C. Cooper

Roger C. Cooper

Roger C. Cooper, 77, was born in Bridgeport, CT. on January 6, 1943, to Earl C. and Viola M. (Goulding) Cooper. He was Vice President of Industrial Relations with The Book Press for many years and then owner of Cheshire Employment Service, Inc. until his retirement.
He and his family spent many vacations camping in the White Mountain National Forest. He enjoyed hiking in the White Mountains and climbed most of the 4,000 footers. Highlights of his retirement included traveling to Alaska. Around the house and by friends he was known as "Mr. Fixit". He could find a way to fix most any problem. Roger enjoyed steam engines and old airplanes especially the Piper J3 Cub, in which he took flying lessons as a young boy.
After living in Spofford, New Hampshire for many years, he moved to Moultonborough, New Hampshire to be near and able to enjoy his family.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Joyce Larson and her husband Norman; two grandsons, Ethan Larson and Eric Larson; and brother James Cooper and his wife Fairy of Englewood, Ohio.
A private celebration of life was held December 2, 2020, at the Mayhew Funeral Home in Meredith, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made In Memory of Roger Cooper to the Moultonborough Public Library, 4 Holland Street, PO Box 150, Moultonborough, NH 03254; or to the charity of your choice.
