CLINTON - Janet M. Koller, 74, of Clinton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Bridgeport, Conn. on Jan. 19, 1944, the daughter of the late Chester and Alice (Murphy) Collins. She attended schools in Bridgeport, Conn. Following the raising of her family, Janet worked in the cafeteria at Lawrence High School in Fairfield. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and her flowers, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her seven brothers. Janet is survived by her husband, Charles Koller; her children, Richard Koller of Clinton, Sandra McCausland and her husband Craig of Vassalboro, and Stephen Koller of Clinton; her sister Dorothy Hoyt of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Stephen C. Koller, Caitlin Koller, Courtney Koller, and Dylan and Chase McCausland; her very special friend, Donna Wheelock of Oakland; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec.14 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. A private memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
