MaryLou Cocozza (Paskowski)

 

 

PASKOWSKI (Cocozza) Mary Lou, age 64, of Maple Lane Ext., Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at St. Vincent's Medical Center at Bridgeport. She was the devoted wife of the late Walter A. Paskowski, Sr.. Mrs. Paskowski was born in Bridgeport on May 5, 1942, daughter of the late Adam Cocozza and Assuntra "Sunny" Mazzucco Cocozza, and she lived in Shelton for over 30 years, coming from Bridgeport. She worked at St. Joseph Manor for over 30 years as a nurse’s aide and unit clerk before retiring in 2002. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Shelton, and was very active within the church, including volunteer work with CCD and Vacation Bible School. Most of all she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary Lou's courage and strength will always live on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. She was the beloved mother of Walter A. Paskowski, Jr and his wife, Vivian, and Tammy Smith and her husband, Bill. She is also survived by four cherished grandchildren, Chelsea, Tyler, Molly, and William, a brother, Louis Cocozza; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Cocozza. Mary Lou is also leaving her best friend, Mary Ellen Keleman, whose dedication and support will never be forgotten.
