Obituary for Patricia "Patty" Dean

Patricia M. “Patty” Dean, 70, of Crete, Illinois, died Wednesday (Feb. 13, 2013) at her home. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Manteno, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Pastor Andy Hanson will officiate. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais. Memorials may be made in her name to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care or the National Brain Tumor Society. She was born Jan. 5, 1943. Patricia married Larry A. Dean on May 14, 1994, and he preceded her in death Sept. 5, 2012. She had worked for the state of Connecticut in the Department of Motor Vehicles and was a member of the Open Bible Center in Kankakee. She had a great sense of humor and loved her family. A very giving and loving person, she supported various charities, enjoyed animals and put others above herself. Mrs. Dean is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Anderson, of Aroma Park, and Krystle Goodman (Clinton Fairless), of Manteno; and three grandchildren, Jordan Anderson, Haylie Anderson and Tyler Goodman.
