Joan C. Patrick

December 29, 1943 - May 26, 2024

Joan C. Patrick, age 80, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Robert P. Patrick, passed away on May 26, 2024.

Joan was born in Bridgeport on December 29, 1943, to the late Michael and Marion (Tomalis) Cherney and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Central High School and the National Academy of Hairdressing. Joan was a retired secretary for the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections.

Survivors include her devoted children, Christine Carroll Dwyer and Thomas Carroll Jr., 5 cherished grandchildren, Amanda Borges, Makelia Dwyer, Courtnie Carroll, Hailey Carroll and Ryan Carroll, 2 great-grandchildren, Angelee Borges and Jayvoni Oliveira-Borges.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. meeting directly at Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be private.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home.
