BEDNARSKI ,Julia MacKenzie , age 61, died on Sunday, February 20, 2005, at Northbridge Health Care Center in Bridgeport. Born in Bridgeport to the late Edward and Muriel Cooper Mackenzie, Julia was a lifelong area resident and retired librarian for the town of Fairfield. She attended the Art School in Paris, and the University of Bridgeport and became an expert fabric artist. Survivors include her husband, Edward Bednarski; two sons, Lucas Bass of Miami, Fla., and Simon Bass of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Harley MacKenzie and her husband, Richard Elia, of Winchester, Mass., and Beth MacKenzie and her husband, Dr. Stephen Dubinette, of Bellaire, Calif.; two nieces, Susannah Mintz of Queens, N.Y., and Leah Mintz of Los Angeles, Calif.
