I had the pleasure of meeting Carolyn after high school and we had a lot of fun looking for real estate.  She had the cutest condo in the center of Stratford, and a white rabbit running around as I recall.  She married Jim and they moved into a lovely ranch house in Stratford.  She was such a nice person to work with, always complimentary, obliging, sharp, smart and her smile just lit up a room.  We kept in touch at the Holidays and she always found a humorous Christmas card to send me reminding me that she had converted to Judaism years ago, but enjoyed the season.  Good person, nice gal, I am glad that I had the good fortune to know her.

Am so sorry to hear about Carolyn's passing.  Seems so many people get cancer, and then it ends their life.  I was glad to hear that she had Hospice at the end.  My mom died in Branford Hospice almost 25 years ago, but it is so much needed in our society.  My mom loved music and sang opera, but she lapsed into a coma (we, my family, that is, believe my mom died from Lupus!) and one day my niece & I were there and we wheeled her bed into an atrium and there was lovely music playing, and do you know, she was "humming" to the sound of it!  Amazing!  Sorry to have gone on.  But want to wish all of Carolyn's family my heartfelt sympathies, and I remember her face well, but we were not friends.  Bless all her family.  Sincerely, Linda V. Falcone (Nowaczyk)
