ANNOUNCEMENTS

In case anyone is interested, this is a site you can use to contact places that want homemade masks. Nice to know that people in our HS class are helping at this time. ( Note: You will have to copy and paste this address into a search box to reach this document.)

As we now join the world in facing a common enemy, a virus that we can't see or hear, we are wise to take appropriate precautions.  In addition to keeping us safer from this disease by avoiding crowds and other possible sources of contagion, keeping to ourselves may be good for our health in a lot of other ways.  Relax, take comfort in your home, appreciate what you have and where you are.  Value the quiet, the lack of racing from one place to another, the good feeling of helping others just by staying home.  So there you have my contribution of uplifting words to bolster our spirits during the current crisis.  Anyone else want to add their thoughts at this time?  I am going to activate the What's New portion of the site so that anyone can easily add their comments.  The link is at the top of the list on the left side of the site.  )A note to those of you using your phone to access the site: pull down the lttle bars on the face of the phone to open the menu.)  Share how you are doing and how you are dealing with the closings and the curtailing  of activities. If nothing else it will give us a chance to say nice things to each other while we can!.

A quick reminder for those of you who want to update your profile.  At the top of the Home Page is an icon that looks like a head on shoulders.  If you click on this little guy, a menu will drop down and you can choose the option you need.  Again, let me know if you need my help by clicking on Contact Us on the left side of the page (way at the bottom) or send me a message from my profile page.

The Class of 1961 is still moving forward.  In 2021, we will gather again when we reach another milestone in our lives:  our 60th Reunion!  The Committee is already proceding with plans, and welcomes input from everyone.  Please be sure to share information from this site with classmate friends who have not joined.  Better yet, maybe you can help someone use their smart phone to sign on to our site!  (Just remember that the 3 little bars on the face of the phone when you open our Home Page will allow you to choose other pages to open.)

I hope you are enjoying remembering old times here at our official class site.  Please let me know if you experience any difficulties using the site, I am always happy to help. You can contact me by using the Contact Us link on the left side of the Home Page.  It is way down at the bottom of all the other links!
