Barbara Lee Svitlik, age 76, passed on in her Boynton Beach home with her children by her side on the morning of Tuesday, December 3rd.

Barbara spent 38 years as a nurse after graduating in 1981, first in the St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT until 1999, and then in the St. Mary's Medical Center Emergency Department in West Palm Beach, FL from 1999 to 2019. When Barbara was not busy helping to save lives, you could probably find her at the beach or poolside with a book in hand, or out shopping with family or friends.

She is survived by her four children, Daniel, Christine, Christopher, and Leigh, and her eight grandchildren, Skender, Allten, Antara, Cassandra, Alyssa, Balin, Sophia, and Mia.

Barbara was beloved by all, and her joy for life and love for her family will continue to live on through those whose lives she touched. A memorial service for Barbara will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event
