Hello Fellow ’61 CHS Classmates,

As hard as it is to believe, it is nearly two years since we gathered to celebrate our 60th class reunion.  The years seem to go faster every year.

Gloria Cerreta Manning and I have been discussing that it would be nice to have one more gathering of classmates to keep in touch.  So, we invite you to attend a CHS Birthday Lunch on September 9, 2023 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm at Brownson Country Club, 15 Soundview Avenue, Shelton, CT 06484 phone 203-929-0555

The buffet menu includes: 

Burgers, hot dogs, garden seasonal salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, chips, baked beans, mixed grilled sausages, BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, seafood skewers, corn on the cob and fresh watermelon. Tiramisu for dessert. Lemonade, iced tea, coffee and assorted teas.  $35.00 per person.  Cash bar.  Dress code: Casual attire.

For our classmates unable to attend the luncheon, perhaps you can share, by letter or email, what you've been doing to update our fellow classmates.  I’m sure we would enjoy hearing from you so we can learn what you have been doing over the years.  We will print your responses and share them with classmates attending our event.  We would love to hear from you.
