LICKTEIG Sheila Vance, age 61, of Milford, beloved wife of the late alderman, Bernard J. Lickteig Sr., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 20, 2004. Mrs. Lickteig was born in Bridgeport on April 21, 1943, to Mildred Reekie Vance of Fairfield, and the late Charles Vance, and was a Milford resident for 42 years. Sheila graduated from Central High School in 1961, and was a homemaker for more than 20 years. She volunteered some of her time as a lunchroom helper at her childrens‚ school. Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, are her brother, Donald Vance of Derby; her five children: Janet Forant and Bernard J. Lickteig Jr., both of Florida, Michael Lickteig of Plymouth, and Kathleen Norris and Christopher Lickteig, both of Milford; two grandchildren, Jessica and Curtis Cocco; two step-grandchildren, Sarah and Kevin Norris; and several nieces and nephews.
