SNEAD Bernice C, age 66 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 18, 2010. Born in Mt Vernon, Ga. on June 28, 1943 to Mary Helen Shepard of Mt. Vernon, Ga. and Oscar Snead of Bridgeport, Bernice was a member of American Legion Post 140, along with her parents and stepmother, Martha Snead. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Tyffani Snead of Bridgeport; granddaughter, Ireanna Snead- Edwards; sister, Gwen Snead-Irby; brothers, Joseph K. Snead and Emmanuel L. Webb; and a host of relatives and friends.

Bernice was in sewing class with me.I failed to finished a ugly brown dress that Miss Carless made my life misable over. Bernice laughed overthat dress for some time. I will always remember that. Rest in peace
