Richard M. Schepis, age 68, of Trumbull, passed away suddenly on May 20, 2011. Known by his friends and family as "Richie", he was born in Yonkers, NY to the late Nunzio and Carmella (Ruggiero) Schepis and was a longtime Trumbull resident. He was the proprietor of Reliable Maintenance, servicing businesses in the area since 1979. Volunteering his time as a tireless minister of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 40 years, Richie touched many lives young and old. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a loyal friend. His wry sense of humor and quick wit brought smiles and laughter to everyone who knew him. He had an infectious love of life and a wonderful way with children. He was always there for those who needed him. Loved by all, Richie will never be forgotten. 

Richie is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 45 years, Faith (Babian) Schepis of Trumbull; two loving daughters, Dawn Dixon and her husband Jonathan of Trumbull, and Robyn Wright and her husband Eric of Middlebury; one brother Robert Schepis and his wife, Yvonne of Naugatuck; five grandchildren Larissa, Owen, Garrett and Wesley Dixon and Everett Wright; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Diane Schepis.
