Margaret M. Kucky (Stoliker)

Margaret Stoliker Obituary

STOLIKER
Margaret Stoliker (Kucky), 75, wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Monday, October 8th, 2018. Known as "Miracle Marge" the last year, she had an uncanny ability of surviving catastrophic medical events with grace, dignity and humor, always making her family, friends, doctors and nurses laugh.
Born in Bridgeport, CT on September 8th, 1943, she was the daughter of Michael and Margaret Kucky and attended Central High School where she met her husband of 51 years Ron Stoliker, owner of Ron's Appliance Service in Jacksonville, FL. For over 30 years, she has been the voice on the other end of the line, taking names, answering questions, repairing appliances herself over the phone. But for the family she left behind, her most important job was being the quintessential matriarch of the family. She always placed her family first, taking care of her husband, raising her two daughters and showering her grandkids (her babies) with an unlimited amount of hugs and kisses. She never asked for much, always put others before herself and had determined shortly after her girls went to college that cooking was overrated. She was an avid Seminoles fan, but refused to watch games because she couldn't stand the excitement. And the thrill of a slot machine hitting a jackpot put a big smile on her face.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Stoliker, daughters Marcy Stoliker, Sheri Gallagher and her husband James Gallagher and grandchildren Finleigh and Liam, brother John Kucky, sister Dorothy Guaglianone, sister
s-in-law Linda Olsavsky and Pat Stoliker, plus countless nieces, nephews and casino boat friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Francis Kucky and brother-in-law Bob Stoliker and sisters-in-law Mary Kucky and Lucy Kucky.

My condolences to Margaret's family. I recognize her yearbook picture so we must have been in some classes together. How could one ever forget that beautiful smile. Dennis Watkins

One of my best friends, Marge, passed away last week.  We went to Read School together from Kindergarten through eighth grade and onto Central High.  We had good times together especially as teenagers going to the record hops at the Sheehan Center in Bridgeport and at Pleasure Beach.  We still kept in touch after all these years. I will miss her.  My deepest sympathy to Ronnie and his family.
