Judith A. Gerich (Levine)

Judith A. Gerich (Levine)

Judith Gerich Levine passed away on September 29, 2018.   The daughter of Stephen and Anna Gerich, Judy was married to our classmate, Milt Levine.  Although they divorced after 27 years of marriage,  that change in their lives was followed by another 27 years of good friendship and respect- a relationship much appreciated by their family.  She leaves behind a sister, Annette, and two daughters, Tracy and Jodi, two granddaughters, and a great granddaughter due to arrive very soon.   A formal obituary will follow in the next few days.

Dear Milton

we were so sorry to hear of Judy's passing, she was one of the people I looked forwad to seeing again at the Florida reunion.

we had some fun times together when she lived on Nichols Ave.  We shared having worked in the same office together and had

many shared friendships.  Judy was always so down to earth, a brave soul for sure.

I know how much she will be missed, please accept our sympathy

Judy and I were friends in elementary school, but lost touch in high school.  It made me sad to hear of her passing, but knowing that she was so very loved by both her family and her students was cause for the joy she left behind.  It was especially wonderfull to hear from Milt that the two of them remained good friends even after a divorce.  That is a tribute to the good hearts of both of them.  Rest in peace my old friend.
